Eight pillars. Four wards.
One vision for Mumias West.

A Leader Shaped by the People of Mumias West
Brian Omondi is a passionate advocate for the people of Mumias West. With a deep understanding of the challenges facing the constituency, from agriculture to education, health to infrastructure, he is committed to bringing real, measurable change to every ward.
His campaign is built on three unshakeable pillars: integrity in leadership, decisive action, and results that every family will feel.
What Brian Stands For
Eight pillars that will guide every decision made for Mumias West.
Education
Education is the greatest equaliser, yet many families in Mumias West struggle to keep their children in school due to lack of school fees. As your MP, I will ensure that NG-CDF resources are managed fairly, transparently and reach the students who need them most.
Agriculture
Agriculture is the backbone of Mumias West. Our farmers work hard but continue to struggle with delayed payments, expensive farm inputs and unreliable markets. As your Member of Parliament, restoring dignity and income to our farmers will be my top priority.
Healthcare
Too many people walk long distances to find care. Too many facilities have no doctors, no drugs, or no equipment. Too many mothers still risk their lives while giving life. The closure of key facilities such as the St. Mary's Hospital has only made things worse. This is not acceptable. Healthcare is a right — and under my leadership, we will restore dignity, access, and trust in our health system.
Youth & Jobs
Youth unemployment is one of the biggest challenges facing Mumias West today. Many young people have energy, talent and ambition but lack opportunities. I will focus on creating real economic opportunities for our youth.
Security
Security is a growing concern in many parts of Mumias West, with cases of theft, livestock rustling and insecurity in markets and trading centres. A safe community allows businesses to grow and families to live with dignity.
Infrastructure
Poor roads remain a major challenge in Mumias West, especially during rainy seasons when many roads become impassable and farmers cannot transport their produce to markets. Improving infrastructure will unlock economic growth and improve everyday life for residents.
Local Economy
Small businesses, traders and informal sector workers are the backbone of the Mumias West economy. From market traders to boda boda operators, many hardworking residents struggle with limited capital, poor market facilities and unfair business conditions.
Environment
A clean and healthy environment is essential for the wellbeing of our communities. Many areas of Mumias West face challenges such as poor waste management, environmental degradation and the impact of changing weather patterns on farming.
